Abstract
Serological study on HEV(Hepatitis E virus) infection for 462 cases was carried out with EIA technique, and also the possibility of mixed infection with other viral hepatitis among the HEV antibody positive cases was investigated from April to

Positive rate of hepatitis E antibody for residents in seashore town and blood donors were shown 8.0% and 9.5% respectively, and that of 50 to 60 years old age group was higher than the other age groups, while the lowest rate was scored at under
20
